Hope in the Mountains

Hope in the Mountains is a facility in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, that provides a variety of complete services to people who are trying to heal from drug and alcohol abuse. The center offers a safe place for both men and women to heal and grow, with a focus on supportive environments. It has programs for both men and women, but it doesn't call itself a faith-based group. The center provides outpatient services, detoxification, transitional living programs, inpatient treatment (both high-intensity and low-intensity), and support aftercare. 
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, group therapy, private counseling, life skills development, and peer support services are all types of treatment that are offered at Hope in the Mountains. The center stands out because it takes a whole-person approach to recovery, including teaching life skills and getting people involved in the community. Notably, the women's residential center has arts and sewing projects that help women be creative and express themselves as part of their recovery. Hope in the Mountains keeps up high standards of care and service as an approved AODE provider and as an approved Behavioral Health Services Organization in Kentucky.
